NBA Finals: Game 2 Recap

Written by: Treal Holland

It was all smiles Sunday night in San Francisco as the Warriors bounced back to even the 2022 NBA Finals 1-1 with a convincing 107-88.

The Warriors offense was clicking as they had 5 players scoring in double figures with Steph leading all scorers with 29 points in 32 minutes of play.

“I think it’s different,” Curry said, “just because of the way the team is constructed.

This Warriors team has a different feel than the championships team of old. The third quarter was the story of the game as the Warriors outscored Boston 35-14. The biggest difference from Game one was the Warriors didn't let the Celtics back in the game this time.

Jordan Poole found his scoring punch off the bench scoring 17 points.

Celtics looks to regroup as the series now heads to Boston for games 4 & 5. Jayson Tatum will look to build on his 28-point performance in game 2. He was shooting the basketball from three at a great clip connecting on 6-9 from the field.

With the series being tied Game three will be an all-out battle as the teams look to take a series lead then use that momentum to take over the series.
