Next American Underdog

If you are an NFL fan you must have seen the "American Underdog" movie (if not here is the link for the trailer "American Underdog"), this movie tells the true story of Kurt Warner, who went from a stockboy at a grocery store to a two-time NFL MVP, Super Bowl champion, and Hall of Fame quarterback.
Now, I am not saying that these next QB's are going to win the Super Bowl or even be an MVP. I am just wanting to bring to the table that they can give the surprise in the coming season.
Here is my Top 3 underdog QBs for the next season (the order does not mean anything):
Baker Mayfield
Mayfield played college football at Oklahoma, where he won the Heisman Trophy, he was selected by the Browns with first overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
These stats are not a surprise to anyone and that is why the Browns got Deshaun Watson in a trade with the Texans, even with all the legal problems that Watson is facing.
Something real is Baker Mayfield made Browns a playoff team, he destroys his throwing shoulder, tries to play through it.
The good news is Baker Mayfield would be close to reaching Seattle and probably this could be the opportunity to demonstrate his capabilities.
Tua Tagovailoa
Tagovailoa was chosen fifth overall in the 2020 Draft by the Miami Dolphins, his NFL debut came on October 18, 2020, against the New York Jets, in the fourth quarter in place of Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Tua has received lot of critics and doubts about if he is good enough to lead Dolphins to playoffs, the coach Mike McDaniel was aggressive, he got one of the best left tackles, renewed the offense with RBs and WRs, and if you want to know more about Dolphins Free Agency you can look my last post (New Era for FinsUp), it's the third year for Tagovailoa, it's now or never.
Jimmy Garoppolo
The New England Patriots drafted Garoppolo in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft, with the 62nd pick overall. On October 31, 2017, the Patriots traded Garoppolo to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for the 49ers' second-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
The most recent rumor is that 49ers are trading QB Jimmy Garoppolo and a 2022 6th-round pick to the Carolina Panthers for a 2023 4th-round pick, the reality is if he stays on the 49ers or move to Carolina it could be his last dance.
A bonus
Deshaun Watson was introduced as the Cleveland Browns quarterback for the next season, Watson's career stats: 68% completion, 14,539 passing yards, 1,677 rushing yards, 121 total TD, 36 INT, 104.5 QB rating, Watson led the NFL with 4,823 passing yards and 12.6 yards per completion in his final season with the Texans back in 2020.
All of us have heard about the legal problems that Watson has faced, it is a matter of time that we know if he is an American underdog or fraud.
Do you agree with this list? Who are your Top three?
